so this is where I begin....
I wrote earlier about the series of beginnings that make up life. Now there is a new one and, as part of that beginning, there must be an ending. The website will be permanently closing as of June 1, 2012. It's been a fun run, folks and thank you to all those who came to visit. I'll be out there, somewhere, beginning again -- perhaps our paths will cross.
Life is, for many of us, full of beginnings. We begin to acknowledge; we begin to explore; we begin to move on; we begin again in an entirely new way or another direction. There is something wonderous in beginnings; like a painting or drawing, you are never quite sure how things will turn out. But it doesn't really matter --the adventure is the journey, not the ending. I've never been big on endings anyway. They are, essentially, just a prelude to a new beginning.
So, in the beginning....
Catherine works predominately in graphite and oils, with occasional excursions into mixed media, acrylic, artist's books, artist's cards and more.
